In a specialist article for the Umweltmagazin (09/10 2023), GVM project manager Stefan Marasus discusses the opportunities of reusable packaging in online retail. The article addresses the ecological benefits of reusable solutions as well as the barriers to the use of reusable packaging and the costs of return logistics.
10/2023: Presentation on the optimization potential of beverage packaging
At the final conference of the UBA (German Environment Agency) project ‘Life cycle assessment analysis of optimization potentials for beverage packaging’ in Dessau, GVM project manager Nicolas Cayé presented results on the optimization potential of selected beverage packaging. The focus was on packaging material used, number of rotations, and distribution distances.
09/2023: Presentations at the annual meeting of the VMV and FGM
At the annual meeting of the Association for Metal Packaging e.V. GVM Managing Director Kurt Schüler and GVM Authorized Representative Nicolas Cayé gave lectures about opportunities and challenges in the market for FE packaging.
