Beverage cans are almost completely recycled
Taking into account all collection and recycling methods, the recycling rate is 99.6% for tinplate beverage cans and 98.9% for aluminum beverage cans. This is the central result of a GVM’s study on the recycling of beverage cans subject to a deposit. Clients of the study were DAVR GmbH, Forum Flaschen-Box GbR and ThyssenKrupp Rasselstein GmbH.
