The recycling rate for beverage cans is exceptionally high
Beverage cans are increasingly gaining popularity on the market. From 2013 to 2015, market volume rose by 0.55 billion units to 2.37 billion units, equivalent to an increase of almost 30%. The recycling rate is extraordinarily high: up to 99.7% and 98.9% of tinplate beverage cans and beverage cans respectively that are subject to a deposit are recycled.
