IK informs about resource efficiency of plastic packaging
The IK Industrievereinigung Kunststoffverpackungen e.V. (German Association of Plastics Packaging Industry) provides information on the resource efficiency of plastic packaging in a new fact sheet. Topics are: material savings achieved, the contribution of plastic packaging to product protection and recycling. The article is largely based on GVM’s Recycling Report and study of “Development of the efficiency of plastic packaging in Germany from 1991 to 2013”.
